One hundred signs marked with QR codes have been installed around the Dullegil Walking Trail which, upon completion, will cover a 80km route through upland forest on the slopes of Mt. Hallasan.

Although only 60km of the trail is currently completed, 460,000 people have already used the trail this year alone.

Jeju province therefore installed the markers to prevent visitors from getting lost, and to introduce the culture and ecology of the area. Maintenance was also carried out on signage along the trail.

The Korea Forest Service will work with the province to complete the remaining 20km next year and improve accessibility along the trail.
