"Why do we always have to go to a gallery to see photos? Rather than being trapped behind closed doors, why don't we go out to meet the gallery in the street, under the open skies?

'La Calle' is the very first attempt at organizing a street photography exhibition in Jeju.

The distance is 13,101km from Korea to Cuba, the farthest island which I have ever visited. This street photography exhibition will create a portal from our island home to an exotic island on the other side of the world - connecting streets and alleys in Cuba with Gwandeok-ro, Jeju. Gaze at the screen and be transported far away."
