4th Beautiful Seogwipo Photo Contest

Images of Seogwipo’s beautiful scenery are invited to be entered for this contest for all from enthusiast to professionals

Application method

Contest theme: Unpublished images of Seogwipo’s unexplored areas and natural scenery including Mt.Hallasan
Dates: June 1 - 19 (6pm deadline)
Open to all
Limit of four images per person (no entry charge)
Colored or black and white 11"×14" print and file submission (must be over 3.0MB)
Works must be submitted with a completed application form (see website)
Send to Press Office, Seogwipo City Hall, 105 Jungang-ro, Seogwipo-si (064-760-2034)
Winners will be personally notifed in June and through the website

Awards Ceremony in July 2015

Awards
One winner: Gold award and prize money of 1,500,000 won from the Seogwipo mayor
Two winners: Silver award and prize money of 500,000 won from the Seogwipo mayor
Three winners: Copper award and prize money of 300,000 won from the Seogwipo mayor
36 winners: Various awards and prize money of 100,000 won from the Seogwipo mayor

Further details
Previously submitted photos will be disqualified
Ownership and all intellectual property rights belong to Seogwipo City
All responsibility for portrait rights, defamation and copyright is included in the application
In cases of overlapping winners, four awards are limited per person
Submitted images cannot be returned
Winners’ original files must be submitted within seven days of the winning announcement to avoid cancelation.
