Jeju Tourism Organization is recruiting Jeju students as independent supporters, or “Geo Buddies,” to promote Jeju Global Geopark online. The scheme was inspired by last year’s UNESCO Supporters who promoted Jeju’s UNESCO sites and this scheme targets local middle and high school students to promote the Jeju Geopark.

Jeju Tourism Organization is recruiting the “Geo Buddies” until July 31. Applicants must attend a Jeju school and be recommended by their principals. They must also submit a plan of action about how they will promote the Geopark.

The first Geo Buddies will be expected to report on their exploration of the sites on special programs to increase understanding of the Geopark and increase domestic interest among their peer group.
