In modern times, numerous people are benefiting from electricity. By using electricity, people can watch TV, use hair driers, and play soccer games at night. Thanks to electricity, human society has benefited with great prosperity. But as the demand of electricity increased, fossil fuel has decreased. Many scholars are predicting that fossil fuel will run low in 20-30 years. Using fossil fuel makes global warming worse. To improve this situation, a new eco-friendly method has been devised- The Smart Grid.

In the past, electricity systems were very complicated and inefficient. They used a lot of fossil fuel and resulted in global warming getting worse. People needed a more efficient and non-fossil fuel system. On the contrary, Smart Grid is much better in many aspects.

First, the Smart Grid is a system which uses eco-friendly energy. Eco-friendly energy is a resource which can be harnessed from nature, such as sun light, wind, water, etc. It does not damage the natural environment and does not cause global warming. Also, the Smart Grid has high energy efficiency. As a result, the Smart Grid system can manage electricity much more easily.

The Smart Grid is very important in people’s lives. It helps to protect the natural environment, and also can manage electricity easily.
