Our JDC junior journalist team visited Saryeoni Forest on September 21st. Saryeoni Forest was secleted as one of ‘Jeju secret unexplored regions 31 places’ Also, UNESCO has designated bio regional management. There were many people on the day we visited and visitors ages ranged from young to old. There was a cool breeze at the entrance of the forest that felt good. The weather was great but a little hot inside the forest. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the fresh air.

First, we met a family with three generations visiting the park. There were 21 people in the group. They came from all over the country to commemorate the 70th birthday of Kany Yeongsim. They wanted to enjoy nature. A family member said, “This is the first time I’ve come here. This is very beautiful and pure. But regrettably, the entrance and the inside have a differnent ambience.” They said they were a little disappointed; however, overall they felt good. Maybe they are accumulated their good experience.

We also spoke with Yang Donghun, who usually visits the forest with his family. He said he dropped by the forest today to heal his mind. He said, “Saryeoni Forest is one of the most brilliant paths to walk on, for both young and old, because is does not have steep hills.” He smiled during our entire interview. Maybe he was surrounded by a happy virus in the forest.

Most people liked Saryeoni Forest and were having fun. Also, we knew about this forest through in Saryeoni Forest keep gaining people affections if preserve that nature.

It deserves to show its beauty all over the world. The forest have many merit like wonderful nature. Even though there have only trees and cluster path, but an end in itself. Saryeoni Forest will gain people affections if preserve that place.
