During the summer vacation period, some of Jeju’s inner-city buses will cut their services. The services cut will mostly be those which serve middle and high schools and universities. 7 routes out of 18 will be reduced between July 22 to Aug 18.
On weekdays, the affected buses will run according to the weekend timetable. Other routes will run according to the standard timetable and after August 19 all routes will run a full timetable.
A Jeju provincial government official said: “During vacation, when users are reduced, buses will be examined and it will stop the inefficiency of empty buses running.”
