Domestic flights from Jeju to be increased |
|
The Ministry of Transportation said that domestic flights from Jeju will be increased for the summer season, from March 31 until Oct. 26. The number of seats for domestic flights will be increased to 440,000 per week, and flights will be operated 1,159 times as well.
Broken down by airline, both Korean Air and Asiana Air will offer flights 566 times per week, a 3 percent increase over current numbers. Low-cost airlines will increase their flight schedules by 16 percent, offering 593 flights per week. This temporary increase is expected to appease tourist complaints about lack of flight tickets.
