Tamnaguk Ipchun Gutnori
Feb. 11 to 12, from Jeju City Hall to Gwandeokjeong. 064-728-2714.
The ritual, which marks the beginning of spring on the solar calendar, is a reenactment of the traditional rite where exorcists, a local magistrate and administrators, along with local residents, convened at Gwandeokjeong to wish for a bountiful harvest and to drive away bad spirits.

Guides to run anti-smoking clinic at Seogwipo Health Center
Period : All the year round
Participants: Any smoker who wishes to quit smoking
Hours : From 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except the weekends)
Location: 3rd floor of Seogwipo Health Center, Anti-smoking Clinic
Contents : Health care services will be provided including counsel and education regarding quitting smoking, supply of gums, patches, candies, etc.) to quit smoking, examination of nicotine dependence, measurement of carbon monoxide, and management of stress, excercising and obesity.
✽ For those who are successful in quitting smoking for 6 months, the gifts will be given.
