Multicultural families, the disabled and children of low income families are being prioritized for a “Mt. Hallasan Experience Program” until October. The program is targeted at families who normally are not able to spend time in nature and experience the change in the seasons.
Hallasan National Park Management Office has designed a variety of programs at the Eorimok and Eoseungsaengak trails all the way to the Witsae Oreum shelter. At Eorimok Square and its ponds, participants can experience forest walks and recreation programs to stimulate the five senses. On the Eoseungsaengak and Eorimok trails there will be hiking adjusted to the ages and experience of participants.
Eco guides will explain the flora and fauna on the trails and include the island’s rich history connected to Mt. Hallasan. Insurance will also be provided for free to all participants and transportation from the National Park office plus lunch and drinking water is included.
