Night tours are being provided at Kimnyoung Maze Park as part of the park’s support for Jeju National University. Students will control the entire operation from marketing and selling to customer services and all the profits raised will be donated to the university.

The night tours have been held since 2011 and are now annual events which enable JNU students to gain experience in the tourism field. It is expected the scheme will boost students' employability in the tourism field.

To save energy and promote environmental sustainability, the park will use solar-powered energy-saving lighting and LED lamps, along with glow-in-the-dark tape on stairways. At night, candle lanterns will be given to visitors to help navigate the maze like a candle-holding “Harry Potter.”

The maze makes for a romantic trip on a summer night and at its center there is a silver bell to be rung by finishers. Evergreen Leyland cypress trees make up the maze and the grounds contain Jeju’s natural scoria rock that is so ubiquitous across the island. A visit to Kimnyoung Maze Park is the perfect way to cap off a summer’s day on Jeju.
