St. Johnsbury Academy signs Jeju Global Education City MOU |

Yet another international school is looking into moving to the Jeju Global Education City.
Edward Zuccaro, chairman of the Board of Trustees of St. Johnsbury Academy, and Byon Jong Il, Chairman and CEO of Jeju Free International Development City (JDC), signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on the academy’s campus in Johnsbury, Vermont, on May 22 (May 21 EST).
The JDC sees this MOU signing as a result of Byon’s visit to the US last January as well as the academy committee’s visit to Jeju earlier this month.
St. Johnsbury Academy is a co-ed institution and has educated students from Grade 9 to Grade 12 since 1842. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and offers 22 Advanced Placement (AP) classes, as well as ESL programs. |
