Du Ga Hun, Seoul’s ultra-posh and somewhat pricey French-Italian wine bar sets a high standard in terms of fine dining.
Tucked inside a beautifully restored traditional hanok (built around 1910), the setting is pure style. There’s even a beautiful art gallery – appropriately called Gallery Du Ga Hun – right next door. The property was owned by the Won Buddhism Foundation for about 30 years before recently being sold to Hyundai Gallery.
A visit will set you back plenty. After wine and entrees (and evening cigars!), one can easily drop well over 200,000 won. But if wine’s your specialty, guests will be happy to learn that there are plenty to choose from. The basement can store up to 5,000 bottles of wine at ideal temperatures ensuring optimal levels of humidity.

(Tea Time) 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Tuesday - Sunday
(Wine & Food) 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., Monday - Saturday
