¡ã Jiggeojineun Jejueo, or Happy Jeju Language, is a bi-weekly educational show by Mike Laidman and “EJ” Hong Eun-jeong to promote the endangered language.
Episode 3 from the Jejueo Team looks at the minefield of commenting on a friend’s weight, and in the process introduces a number of new Jejueo vocabulary and grammatical structures.
Note: The “araea” phoneme (not used in modern Korean) is represented by ‘¤Ç’ in the Korean text, the nearest modern phoneme available.
