At the last day of May 2014, the JDC Junior Journalists visited the Jeju Aerospace Museum (JAM) to interview the visitors. In front of JAM there was an airplane model and inside of JAM an artificial satellite was hanging from the ceiling.

JAM is an edu-tainment facility based on aviation and space operated by the Jeju Free International City. JAM provides a place for both useful education programs and diverse exciting experiences using stat-of-the-art technology and multimedia.

The journalists interviewed visitors to find out their opinion of JAM. Jeon Young Sin, a 30 years old woman, walking around JAM with her baby said, “One advantage of JAM is that we can see the interior of an airplane and it’s also good to learn by direct and actual experience.” And another visitor, Kim Eun Ji, 24 years old Jeju national university student said, ”I think using wireless audio set is very helpful and innovative idea when curator explain about things in the museum.”

One teacher who visited JAM from Jeju-si , answered about ‘How JAM makes Jeju the Free International City?’ by saying, “I have expectations for this museum because many museums such as JAM give lots of educational supports and help Jeju as tourist attraction. As Jeju resident when the museum established, I hoped they give more educational help and good experience to tourists as a tourist attraction to make Jeju the Free International City. But if it is only a formal museum, it would not be benecial to anybody.”

The Jeju Aerospace Museum (JAM) will present hopes and dreams to students who might someday become leaders in the future in the aerospace field and provide an unforgettable memory to adults too.
